CubicICE Joins Forces With Target Marketing
To Host Successful Online Strategies Conference

Recognising the need for
companies to seriously reconsider their approach to the
Internet and the role of online marketing in the overall
marketing mix, CubicICE – together with American company,
Target Marketing – developed and hosted a conference
offering clients much-needed insight into online marketing
and measurement.
Held on 5 September 2008 at The Campus in Bryanston, the
Successful Online Strategies (SOS) Conference saw
world-renowned expert on web analysis and Internet
marketing, Jim Sterne share his expertise and knowledge on
these two simple, yet powerful marketing tools. Guest
speakers from South Africa’s leading Internet companies
further challenged traditional beliefs relating to the
marketing of companies through these influential new
mediums.
The SOS conference was divided into six interactive
sessions, namely measuring online success through web
analytics; lead generation, keyword targeting and the roles
of pay per click (PPC) and search engine optimisation (SEO);
an online marketing mix that includes display advertising,
online PR/blogging and e-mail marketing; mobile marketing;
targeting South Africans online; and lastly, global
marketing trends.
Supporting today’s online revolution, CubicICE’s motivation
for hosting this conference was to help clients identify and
understand the current online marketing and measurement
methods necessary for successful business growth.
